8th Grade 11:00- 11:45am
LOCATION: Roosevelt High School, 4419 Center Street, DM, IA 50312
COST: Tryouts are Free!! (But the cost of tournaments and coaching will total around $220 for the winter)
6th through 8th grade will play in competitively appropriate tournaments throughout the winter for optimal skill development. 8-10 players will be placed on each team with 1-2 teams per grade level. Please make all checks payable to Community Education.

Elementary Rider League
Teams will be divided by schools and grades (2nd/3rd and 4th/5th) and compete against each other in this developmental league.

Teams will be made on this first day of practice.

Games played weekends at Roosevelt High School with high school, trained and supervised high school referees.

Our Mission
Roosevelt Rider Girls Basketball Club seeks to provide a wholesome opportunity for 2nd through 8th grade girls to learn, enjoy and be competitive in the game of basketball and life. We believe in giving every girl a chance to grow both in skills development and team play. Athletes will be asked to be committed to the team and their own growth by participating in all practices and games. The club believes that individual and team growth can both be accomplished while giving each athlete equitable opportunity to grow in skills and game situations. Above all, we hope that each child will come out of the program desiring to continue in the game of basketball and want to be a part of Roosevelt Girls Basketball.
